Speaking of pie

The blackberries, Marrionberries and Boysenberries are all doing a bang-up job this month and I've made a dozen pies from their fruits in the last couple of weeks.

Laura brings in a bucket and says “freezer or pie” at which point I have to decide whether I can stand to stop hacking on xlib for a half an hour to get a pie in to the oven. Fortunately, the answer has been “pie” almost all of the time so far.

I haven't quite figured out how to make a decent raspberry tart yet, so they're all destined for jam this year. Gotta work on that sometime soon.
